ABOUT ME

Photo of Me

Makeup! Makeup to me is about empowering and educating people to feel and look their best and most confident. I feel everyone is beautiful and by using the right amount of the right product you can still look and feel like yourself by accentuating your naturally unique features and personality.

My passion for makeup and all things beauty, like many artists out there started at a young age. I always saw my grandmother and mother applying the essentials which for them was moisturiser, lipstick and eyeliner, and for me that was a beautiful thing to see. Not only did I see makeup enhance the way they looked, but it also enhanced the way they felt and carried themselves. I knew then, that makeup was something that I would always want to be involved in.

I have worked in the makeup industry for over 15 years with some of the industries influential artists and icons. I enjoy creating and working on various looks such as editorial and commercial shoots, special occasion makeup, and bridal makeup for models and real brides. This has enriched me with a wealth of experience and knowledge as a makeup artist.

Having enjoyed a long and rewarding career with Bobbi Brown Cosmetics and regularly conducting masterclasses / makeup workshops, I have intensified my passion for empowering and educating all people with makeup.

I have always been passionate about beauty, style and inspiring people to feel confident in their own skin by creating timeless, fresh makeup tailored for each unique modern person.

When I’m not painting faces, you’ll most probably still find me experimenting with products and creating looks on myself, travelling on adventures to capture memories or posting about my beauty and style obsession on my blog.

You will find some of my handpicked work on the portfolio page to give you a little insight into my work.

AYURVEDIC FACE MASKS

I have always been a lover of facials since a young age and I guess for me that is something due to my Indian heritage linking back to Ayurveda. I remember my Ba (grandmother) always making certain Ubtan (masks/pastes) for certain concerns that I had, from spots to dryness to dullness on my face...

Lip sizes go in and out of fashion, currently it's becoming more and more of a thing to have fuller lips, with celebrities and influential people (like Kylie Jenner) having full thick lips. Personally, ...
